Helen Andersson is a Senior Lecturer in Media and Communications Studies at Örebro University, Sweden. Her research focuses mainly on food communication in relation to brand communication. A central question is how communication about food, health and cooking is related to social representations of collective identities and discourses in society. Using qualitative methods, her latest project focuses on how marketing and packaging of Swedish food products play a central role in the daily naturalization of the nation.
