Dr. Radhika Mittal is a Lecturer at Erasmus University Rotterdam in The Netherlands. Her research focuses on mediated narratives constructing the public and policy conversation around food and climate change. She has examined the portrayal of climate-friendly food practices in Australia, India, Germany and USA, and supervised theses that explore sustainable food in multiple discursive ways, including gender and identity constructions on new media, new-age food as promotional branding at mass events, and CSR and branding initiatives that legitimize new food cultures. She is also interested in representations of climate change and nature across various media. Her teaching portfolio includes courses on Sustainability Communication: Systemic Approaches, Corporate Communication, Organizational Communication, Strategic Communication, among others.
