Andreja Vezovnik is a sociologist, an Associate Professor of Media Studies and a Senior Researcher at the Centre for Social Psychology at the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences. Her recent research interests include discursive and visual constructions of migrants and national identity. Lately her focus is mainly on food related issues, such as food and national identity, food and (post-)socialism, food and gender, food and technology, and the future of food.
